Award winning interior designer, Carnela Renée Hill is the President and Owner of CR Hill Design Group, LLC (CRHDG) based in Raleigh. CRHDG provides professional interior design services (residential and commercial) and staging. Ms. Hill’s award winning work has been recognized in several print media including The News & Observer, The Wilson Times, The Triangle Tribune, New Homes & Ideas Magazine, etc. Ms. Hill is the recipient of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Award for Excellence in Design, and the Recipient of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) “Rising Star” Award. She also volunteers her design skills in many ways by speaking at the Girl Scout camp on Your Parachute and the Impact of Color, to volunteering at the SECU House, The Oxford Children’s Home restoration project and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Charity Parade of Homes House. She speaks yearly at Duke University LEAD Business Summit Initiative. The firm is a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) with the Statewide Uniform Certified Program.

Her most recent project, Ms. Carnela Renee Hill was selected to decorate at the White House. Locally, she is often called the Olivia Pope of decorating “The fixer” that can make it happen quickly. Carnela Renee earned the same title at the White House. She was often called upon to fix decorations or help turn a setting around quickly.
Carnela Renée Hill holds an MBA from UNC Chapel Hill Executive Program, a Master Certificate in Project Management from GWU, and is a Certified Interior Re-designer & Real Estate Stager. She is the Go Red Passion Committee Chair for the American Heart Association, an interior design instructor at Durham Technical Community College and Ambassador for UNC Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School. Ms. Hill’s downtime is enjoyed with family and close friends. She believes in making a difference in the community and is often lending her time to mentoring and coaching others.
